We were greeted at our car by Chuck, a Harrah's valet, and he cheerfully answered any and all questions we had about Harrah's and Metropolis, even suggesting a local place that we might like for dinner (and he was right).
We'd never stayed at a Harrah's property before, so we didn't know what to expect. It was the best deal we found, and being a casino was an added bonus, so we decided to 'cross the river' and give it a try. We were going to be in the Paducah area and checked several hotel sites before seeing Harrah's.
